Sir William's World
2009 Season

Well we have to appoligise for letting this site sit for so long.  Sir William, Ginger and I have been really busy and I guess its time we take a few moments to update you on our progress.

First off Sir William has been healthy for two years now but he will be going in for shots soon.  Last year we ran test to check his immunity system instead of just immunizing him. This last year with him turned out to be one of the best!  Sir William started the summer out with breaking his biggest jump and going over 18 feet in the Auburn event.  Of course this lost me a bet and I had to jump into the cold pool but it was well worth it.

Our summer solstice event rolled into Reno where we tried to introduce Ginger to swimming again but she still didn't  think swimming was anything special.  She would get in the water but that was about as far as she would go.  My little niece was in town for the event and between her and Sir William they had me make a bet that he couldn't jump over 20 feet.  You guessed it I lost again when he jumped 20 feet 7 inches for a new personal best and I got to go swimming again.  We did get to travel to a couple of more events where we struggled at trying to get better and we ended the dock jumping season at Cyno Sports World finals where he missed qualifying for the finals by 3-4 inches.

Now then Ginger has made some really big accomplishments.  Let's start with she has always been a little afraid of swimming.  We tried many different things to get her into the water which only resulted in her disliking it even more.  Finally in October we had taken her fishing with us.  This was a magical day and I think a major turning event for her life.  As the first fish was being brought into shore here was this timid little dog standing on the shore excited .  She took the plunge and went swimming after the fish as it got closer to us.  Here I stood on the shore totally excited for her but holding in this excitement.  It worked we couldn't get her out of the water for 4 hours while she swam.

At the end of 2008 during the really cold month we had the chance to enroll both Sir William and Ginger in agility classes.  Ginger had to face many of her fears and learn to concur them one at a time. This little timid dog has now started to blossom and is starting to turn into a great dog.  We hope 2009 will turn into an even greater year for her.  The hard work and effort we have put into her is now really turning her around.

We hope you will join us this year in experiencing what life can bring with to you and your dog.  Try it some time you might be surprised.

Snow Day!

Well time really flies when you have a big brother to teach you all the secrets.  We didn't get an update because he got real sick this summer and we almost lost him.  But hes back and this is what we did last weekend!

It was a lot of fun and we hope this sticks around for a few days.  If you have a chance to play in the snow we higly recomend it since its a superior medium to play in. Also Dad has some video of use playing so we'll bug him to get something on the site for everyone to watch.
